Syed Ahmed Mustafa
Director of Sales & Marketing
Mr. Mustafa brings over 20 years of international sales, marketing and business development experience to the CeeTox team in his current role as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Mr. Mustafa earned his MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business in 1999. Since starting his first company in 1983, he has worked in a variety of industries, including retail photography, optical fiber, medial devices, and science education. He has owned three successful companies, and he has managed sales, marketing, and business development for organizations in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
At Corning Incorporated, Mr. Mustafa was part of the sales and business development team that designed and deployed optical fiber telecommunications systems in Europe and Asia, and he was one of the first salesmen in what became the optical components industry. He co-founded Ganda LLC, a company that established a presence for an Asian optical fiber manufacturer in the US, allowing them to be highly successful in the North American market with a minimal amount of investment in less than one year. After leaving the telecommunications industry, Mr. Mustafa founded Team AED, a company that brought schools, small businesses and even individuals affordable access to automated external defibrillators, saving many lives through improved programs for public access defibrillation.
Prior to joining CeeTox, Mr. Mustafa managed a sales organization for VWR Education that provided science education equipment and supplies to the K-16 market in the US and Canada in all the physical sciences as well as specialized segments such as forensics and biotechnology.
